Beyond Bar Hire – Terms of business

Before making a booking, please carefully read the following terms and conditions. In these terms, “you” and “your” refer to the customer/client and “we”, “us”, “our” and “Beyond Bar Hire” refer to Beyond Bar Hire LTD or subcontractors or agents. These terms and conditions form part of a legally binding contract between Beyond Bar Hire and the customer/client. By booking services from us or purchasing products, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to charge for loss of revenue or withdraw our services if these terms and conditions are not met.

BOOKINGS

All quotations (email & verbal) are valid for 7 days after receiving the enquiry. Beyond Bar Hire are unable to ensure that the date required will be available after 7 days. The deposit is required within 7 days after the invoice has been issued by Beyond Bar Hire. Bookings are confirmed via email once deposit payments have cleared. The remaining balance is due 28 days before the event takes place. If any further services or fees are requested on the day of the event, payment must be made within 7 days. If any debts remain after this date, these will be passed onto a collections agency and you will be liable for their fees also.

CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation, your deposit is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled and we are not advised prior to the event date, we will charge the Client £250.00.

ACCESS & DELIVERY

Parking is required for all events and if Beyond Bar Hire is providing a bar hire service, sufficient access and suitable loading & parking is required. It will not be the responsibility of Beyond Bar Hire if any delays occur due to poor unloading facilities. We will require access to the venue prior to the event and will require sufficient time after the bar closes. If you require us to unload or load on a different day to the event, we will charge the Client an additional drop off or pick up fee.

RATES

Dependant on the event location and number of guests, the Client may be asked to commit to a minimum spend. The Client will be advised of this at the time of booking. If a drinks package is selected the value of the package will be deducted from the minimum spend amount. Our rates are based on figures provided on the booking form and quotation. If these expected numbers change it’s imperative that you inform us.

LIABILITY

Beyond Bar Hire does not accept any liability for cancellation of our services due to circumstances beyond our control and due to an ‘Act of God’ such as road closures, severe traffic, car accidents, severe weather conditions. We will issue a full refund if this occurs. Beyond Bar Hire is not responsible for your event’s success. In the unlikely event of us being unable to provide your chosen style of bar, we do reserve the right to provide an alternative style. We provide a varied selection of drinks and plan quantities based on the booking details however if one drink selection is favoured we may occasionally run out. Please do inform us if you require an increased amount of a particular drink or brand.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

Beyond Bar Hire will be the only provider of all beverages at the event unless previously agreed in writing (an additional charge may be applied). Guests are required to purchase their drinks from our bar and no additional drinks are permitted at the venue. We reserve the right to confiscate unauthorised drinks or remove them from the premises. Arrival drinks arranged by the Client are permitted providing they are for consumption during the pre-meal period. E.g during the Wedding Breakfast. Table wine and all other table drinks including drinks for toasting arranged by the Client are permitted providing they are for consumption during the meal only. We request that we are informed of this before the event.

LICENSING

Beyond Bar Hire work in accordance with The Licensing Act 2003. If alcohol is being sold to guests, the venue must be licensed. A copy of the license must be available for inspection. If you selected our license application service, we will carry a copy of the license.

We operate a strict policy on underage drinking. No alcohol will be sold to anyone under the age of 18. Guests that appear to be under 21 years of age may be asked to show photo I.D. We will not serve anyone who is excessively drunk, or who is abusive or threatening to staff or other customers or guests.

 

LOSS & DAMAGES

The Client must be satisfied with the equipment before use and notify the Company of any incorrect deliveries or unacceptable equipment at the point of delivery/installation. The Client shall, during the Period of Hire be responsible for the maintenance and safe custody of the Company’s equipment. Any damage caused to the equipment during the Period of Hire will be charged to the Client on a replacement value basis.

Glassware

These terms refer to our glass hire service. All glassware is checked after each event and the Client will be charged at 4 times the hire rate for each broken or lost glass. If Beyond Bar Hire collects glassware after the event, we will need to charge a collection fee. All glasses must be emptied of contents and placed back within the glassware racks provided. We suggest making a note of the number of glasses to ensure that you are invoiced correctly for any lost or broken glassware.
