Partnership will raise crucial funds for local charity
Colchester, Essex – March 13, 2019 – Beyond Bar Hire, a Colchester based mobile bar hire company founded by Simon Duke, Carla Beard and Lee Woods, are pleased to announce a new partnership with Colne Light Ship, a long-established part of the Hythe skyline and home to Colchester Sea Cadets. This fantastically unique venue has been available for hire for some time now, but with Beyond Bar Hire providing a fully stocked bar for any event held there the venue is even more of a perfect setting for Weddings, Corporate functions, Private parties and much more.
All revenue raised from the hiring of the venue will be added to the Colchester Sea Cadets funds, meaning by booking this venue you not only get an amazing space for your event but also support this worthwhile local charity.
Lee Woods, one of the directors of Beyond Bar Hire, said ” As a lifelong Colchester resident I always picture this amazing ship whenever I think of the Hythe area. I had no idea that the Colne Lightship was available for hire as a venue, so am grateful that we here at Beyond Bar Hire can now be a part of that and help inject extra money for the Colchester Sea Cadets.”
Elliot Robertson, the Commanding Officer of Colchester Sea Cadets, also added that they are excited to be able to add Beyond Bar Hire to the options available to people hiring the ship for events. He says, “every time someone hires the ship or attends an event on board, it directly supports the work that we do with our young people; helping us to improve the training we can offer in order to give our Cadets the best possible head start in life!
